When you notice the stuttering, are both the audio and video acting up? (or just one of the two?) The support website for your board has an interesting note in it's drivers download area for Windows 10. If these were programs producing audio, they are likely to interrupt the audio stream resulting in dropouts, clicks and pops. NOTE: some processes were hit by hard pagefaults. The process of resolving the hard pagefault requires reading in the memory from disk while the process is interrupted and blocked from execution. Hard pagefaults are events that get triggered by making use of virtual memory that is not resident in RAM but backed by a memory mapped file on disk. Highest measured kernel timer latency (µs): 12630.265533 This value represents the maximum measured latency of a perodically scheduled kernel timer. It is suggested that you run a utility which reports your actual CPU frequency and temperature. Your CPUs may be throttled back due to variable speed settings and thermal issues. WARNING: the CPU speed that was measured is only a fraction of the CPU speed reported. Disable variable speed settings like Intel Speed Step and AMD Cool N Quiet in the BIOS setup for more accurate results. Note: reported execution times may be calculated based on a fixed reported CPU speed. Your system appears to be suitable for handling real-time audio and other tasks without dropouts. I would be super appreciative for any assistance. RAID 0 256GB Samsung 840 Pro SSDs + another 250 840 SSD Possibly these are to blame? I'm currently on the newest BIOS for my motherboard and have all the newest drivers that I can find. After running LatencyMon on my gaming system I notice really high kernel timer latency and very high pagefaults. I've been having issues with a strange stuttering in games even when I'm getting 60 FPS+ and I can't seem to pin it down.
